Overview

Most analytics products store data. Vantaca IQ activates it. IQ is the intelligence engine at the core of the Vantaca platform, a data-as-a-service layer that transforms raw operational data into decisions that help community management companies maximize revenue, optimize costs, and elevate the resident experience.

What makes IQ uniquely powerful is proprietary derived intelligence: benchmarks and insights aggregated across the Vantaca network that no individual management company could build on their own. When a portfolio manager is about to send the same demand letter she sends every month, IQ surfaces a benchmark insight inline that changes the decision and recovers $4,000 more that cycle. That's the product. And IQ is about to become something far bigger

The vision: IQ evolves into Vantaca's AI-native intelligence mainframe; proactive, personalized, and channel-agnostic. Intelligence surfaced on the personalized homepage. Proactive budget alerts pushed to Teams and Slack. Operational data piped to finance and ops teams via MCP server. Agent-ready data consumed by HOAi agents to take autonomous action, flagging delinquencies, drafting communications, escalating issues and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack features for analytics dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualization experiences
• Develop API endpoints and data integration services that connect to our analytics data lake following Medallion architecture principles
• Author and maintain AI-executable specifications that drive agent-assisted construction
• Leverage AI development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Devin) daily to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and reduce cycle time
• Collaborate with product and data engineers to translate intent into validated, deployable units of work
• Contribute to code reviews, unit testing, and maintaining a high-quality, production-grade codebase
• Document progress and scope changes in Jira; maintain Guru knowledge base entries for your domain
• Partner with QA during sprint cycles to resolve defects quickly and ship with confidence
• Support bi-weekly production deployments and participate in technical support escalations as needed

Requirements

This role is built for someone who:

• Has let or archetected production AI systems: agent workflows, MCP servers, RAG pipelines, vector search infrastructure, or multi-model orchestration
• Thinks at the system level before the feature level; you design the factory, not just the output
• Uses AI development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) as daily collaborators and can describe specifically what you shipped with them this week
• Has strong instincts for what makes agentic products trustworthy and production-ready: harness engineering, verification environments, failure modes, and quality at velocity
• Can write specifications that an AI agent can execute; structured intent that drives construction, not documentation for humans
• Has experience with data-at-scale: analytics platforms, real-time pipeline design, data lake architecture, or derived metric infrastructure
• Is a strong technical communicator who can lead through influence, facilitate context-rich inception conversations, and make decisions the team trusts

Preferred background includes:

• Production MCP server development
• Semantic search, vector embeddings, or RAG pipeline design
• Analytics platform or BI tooling experience (building it, not just using it)
• Experience operating in or transitioning to a spec-driven, AI-DLC development environment
• High-agency track record: you've owned and shipped things end-to-end without needing perfect requirements
