Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe primary challenge involves evaluating, optimizing, and modernizing complex manufacturing workflows and multi-shift production operations across Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Box Build departments. Success relies on eliminating operational inefficiencies through Lean principles, conducting rigorous Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews, and integrating advanced automation technologies to elevate overall factory throughput.What Success Looks Like (Objectives):Evaluate and optimize existing manufacturing processes using Lean methodologies to increase overall production outputDrive multi-shift production schedules, conduct system tests, and perform Root Cause Analysis to maintain strict quality standardsCollaborate with equipment designers, managers, and supervisors to establish cost-effective workflows for new product launchesPerform comprehensive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews and map out detailed equipment layouts for production environmentsResearch, procure, and integrate modern manufacturing tech and AI-assisted predictive maintenance tools to elevate operational efficiencySkills, Experience and RequirementsCore Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):Extensive expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes, Box Build workflows, and assembly layout designAdvanced mastery of Lean manufacturing principles, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma problem-solving methodologiesStrong ability to lead cross-departmental teams and manage project timelines for production operationsPractical AI Application literacy to leverage predictive analytics and smart automation in smart factory environmentsHigh proficiency in evaluating equipment capabilities, conducting DFM reviews, and driving continuous process improvementsAdditional Qualifications:Practical experience utilizing SAP enterprise software within a manufacturing settingSuperior written and verbal communication capabilitiesPrior engineering experience working directly in an electronics manufacturing facilityMinimum Requirements:Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience); or a Master's degree in a related engineering disciplineMinimum Experience: 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environmentRequired Technical Skills: Must have at least 3 years of experience with:Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Box Build manufacturing processesSix Sigma methodologies with a minimum of a Green Belt certificationProcess layout design, DFM reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesMust be a U.S. Person as position requires access to U.S. export restricted materials.Visa sponsorship not available for this role#LI-JZ2 Salary RangesCompensation: $100,500.00/Year - $134,000.00/Year BenefitsCandidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
