Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in Fontana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government human services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, staff, and community members with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter boundaries, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate public service areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
