Location Bayview Medical - Cardiology OP Clinic Hours & Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM or 8:30 AM‑5:00 PM Pay Rate $27‑$31 per hour (based on experience) Responsibilities Room patients; obtain vital signs; perform medication reconciliation Prepare and assist patients during examinations and procedures, including chaperoning Administer vaccines; perform venipuncture; collect and process specimens Assist providers with procedures and in‑basket patient messages and care requests Review charts and obtain labs, imaging, and test results prior to visits Accurately document care in the medical record Maintain clean, stocked, and safe exam and procedure rooms Ensure efficient patient flow and communicate clinical changes to providers Qualifications At least 6 months of CMA experience is required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Certification (CMA, CCMA, RMA, NCMA or NRCMA) from an approved agency is required. Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; and recertification required every two years. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact respectfully and professionally with patients, visitors, and staff.
