Vet Technician

Job Description Job Description Central Texas Equine Veterinary Services is seeking a qualified and dependable vet tech to join our team. We are primarily an equine vet clinic but also treat dogs as well. Duties include patient care, assisting with procedures, administering treatments and medications, maintaining medical records, feeding, and cleaning stalls. Requirements: -Veterinary experience preferred but we are willing to train the right person -equine experience preferred -ability to work independently and efficiently -strong communication and organization skills -reliable transportation and dependable attendance -some weekend work Company Description We are a mostly equine, with some canine patients; Veterinary Clinic. I am looking for a receptionist to work in the front office and organize the files, the computer billing, and our emails and facebook page. Must have good phone skills, be pleasant to the clients when they check out, collect payments, and mail out products that are ordered online. Good computer skills required. Need to operate in programs such as global vet link and vehcs usda. Willing to clean and straighten up the clinic and help with the horses would be a plus.
