JOB SUMMARY

Assist surgeons and the surgical team in providing high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience in a community-focused critical access hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operative procedures by maintaining sterile technique, handling instruments and supplies, retracting tissue, supporting patient positioning, and assisting with surgical workflow. Prepare operating rooms, instruments, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for scheduled procedures while maintaining a safe and organized surgical environment. Support perioperative patient care by assisting with patient transport, positioning, specimen management, documentation processes, and postoperative preparation activities. Participate in on‑call coverage and be prepared to scrub urgent or emergent procedures within required response times. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative procedures. Ability to participate in call coverage and respond within required timeframes. Certifications Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Experience Previous operating room experience required. Unit / Specialty Surgical Services Perioperative Services Floating / On‑Call Participate in on‑call coverage for urgent or emergent procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
