Remote Coder III with Certification

Demonstrating proficiency in coding high acuity inpatient and technical outpatient accounts, the part-time Remote Coder III with Certification will support Revenue Cycle goals for timely billing while working on a per diem basis. Key responsibilities Code high acuity inpatient accounts and technical outpatient accounts, including Observation and various oncology and surgical procedures Ensure accurate coding to support timely billing and compliance with revenue cycle objectives Collaborate with healthcare teams to maintain coding standards and improve billing processes Required qualifications 3-5 years of coding experience, with a preference for outpatient coding High School diploma or GED required Certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, or CCVTC is required
