Assistant General Manager

Chef Stephanie Izards restaurant Girl & the Goat is looking for an Assistant General Manager!

The right candidate should have a strong focus on management ability, team building, and financial responsibilities. This is a dynamic position that requires a strong passion for both food and people as you will be managing and encouraging the professional growth of a large team of employees.

The right candidate will also be expected to uphold the hospitality standards of the Boka Restaurant Group in a fast-paced environment. In this position, a great attitude, problem solving skills, strong communication abilities, flexability and a hard work ethic go a long way! 

Qualified candidates MUST posses: 

• A passion for the hospitality industry with at least 2 years of management experience in a fast-paced restaurant.  
• Experience with Open Table, Aloha and Microsoft Office programs.  
• Extensive knowledge of food, beer, wine and spirits.
• A polished, professional, warm and hospitable presence
• Ability to run all operations including but not limited to: hiring and training FOH staff, daily financial procedures, guest relations, reservation book management, conducting inspired preshift meetings for staff, staff and management evaluations, maintaining established cost and sales goals
