Dental Assistant PositionRockville Centre for Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team of dental professionals! Our practice is well-known for providing the community with extraordinary dental care using state-of-the-art technology and modern techniques. If this sounds like you, submit your application today!Up to $1,000 Sign-on Bonus!Compensation$24 - $31 an hour based on experienceScheduleFull-timeHours: Mondays, OFFTuesdays, 7:45am-6pmWednesdays, 9:45am-6pmThursdays, 7:45am-6pmFridays, 7:45am-4pmSaturdays, 7:45am-1pm (1x per month until December and then every Saturday)Sundays, OFFNeed flexibility to cover Mondays as needed (would switch a different day of the week when needed with notice)BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurancePTO/sick payTraditional and Roth 401(k) optionsReferral Bonus ProgramFree CE courses provided by our affiliated vendorsUniforms providedTeambuilding events & close knit team of 25+ employeesQualificationsMinimum two (2) years chairside dental assisting experienceStrong computer skills required - Office is paperless and digital (ie: clinical notes, intraoral scanning, periocharting)Dentrix Practice Management SoftwareXRays: DEXIS Digital Imaging, DTX Studio 3D/CBCT ImagingFamiliarity w/ iTero Scanner & Trios Scanner helpful but not requiredOffice offers ZOOM Teeth Whitening - familiarity with performing procedure is helpful, but not requiredMultispecialty - familiarity with perio, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, implant placement, neuromodulators/dermal fillers and sedation dentistry in addition to general/cosmetic/family dentistry is helpful, but not requiredMust know how to take traditional impressionsAbility to fabricate night guards/whitening trays using a suck down unit and tools helpful, but not requiredFamiliarity with administration/front desk is preferred, but not requiredWillingness to be part of a team
