Job Description

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including conducting physical exams and analyzing medical histories
• Collaborate with surgeons to evaluate surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work closely with the surgical team to plan and implement tailored surgical treatment protocols for patients
• Facilitate intraoperative care, which includes preparing the operating room, managing patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgery
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wound care, and educating patients during discharge

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgical practices is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Up-to-date BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
