Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Anesthesiology

 This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic medical practice, providing high-quality anesthesiology care to a diverse patient population.

As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional anesthetic management while adhering to the highest standards of patient care and safety. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for various surgical procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluate patient health history
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the operating room
• Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patients' recovery
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia processes and procedures
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesiology techniques and practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Anesthesiology
• Experience in both general and regional anesthesia techniques
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Current state medical license and necessary certifications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 12 or 24-hour call shifts

Case Mix: Neurosurgery, orthopedic, general, and ENT

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
