Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral HealthWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Behavioral Health to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate care to patients within a supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Behavioral Health unit.Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient well-being.Document patient care activities and progress using the electronic health record (EHR) system.Participate in staff training and development initiatives.Position Requirements:Education: Valid RN license in the state of Texas is required.Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Handle with Care training (can be provided on-site).Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Behavioral Health is required. Some medical RN experience is preferred.Patient Population: Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations is essential.Personality Traits: Candidates should be calm, friendly, organized, and professional.Unit Information:Number of Beds: 48Patient Ratios: 1:12Shift Details:This position requires availability for both day and night shifts, with weekend hours as needed. Please note that orientation is biweekly, on Tuesdays.Dress Code:Scrubs in blue (royal or navy) are required.
