CNC Machinist and Operator

Key Responsibilities:
- Machinists are REQUIRED to perform all set up procedures and load programs, 1st piece inspections and run production loads on CNC equipment
- Must be able to determine tooling, design and build fixtures, perform setups; load and set tool offsets, set and modify work offsets
- Use of measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators, calibration, and proper maintenance of equipment
- Ability to set up and operate a variety of machines applying knowledge of mechanics and shop mathematics
- Collaborate and support production and quality departments on assigned daily activities
- Responsible for maintaining documentation and trace ability
- Monitor and maintain quality of production work
- Strong knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining procedures
- Competent in applying common sense understanding to carry out details (written and oral) instructions
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision and meet quality and on-time delivery requirements.
Requirements
Basic Qualification:
- 3-5 years CNC Lathe Machine/Operator experience preferred
- Experience running multi-axis machines
- G-Code and M-Code Programming a MUST and ability to read and edit programs for a variety of CNC Lathes
- Interpret blueprints or product drawings, and specification sheets
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English written technical documentation
- Experience with Aircraft parts preferred
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Self-starter, detail oriented, team player, logical, reliable, and loyal
Job Type
Full-Time Hourly
Weekly day range:
Monday to Thursday, 4-day 10-hour shifts, OT available on selected Fridays
1st shift: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with breaks
Work setting:
Warehouse – cooled and heated
