IT Support Specialist The Workforce Solutions of West Central Texas Board is hiring for an IT Support Specialist (non‑exempt) position. This is a full‑time position offering an annual salary of $45,000–$55,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities Provide technical support to staff by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network‑related issues. Install and maintain technology equipment. Support Microsoft 365 applications. Manage user accounts. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding. Provide end‑user training. Work with the IT Manager and external technology partners to ensure reliable IT services. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent education, certifications, or relevant work experience may be considered. Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic networking concepts is desirable. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or other industry certifications are preferred but not required.
