GIS Analyst

GIS Analyst for the City of Blue SpringsAs a GIS Analyst for the City of Blue Springs, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and expanding the City's Geographic Information System (GIS) operations. This position will work under the direction of the GIS Coordinator and provide advanced GIS support through the development, management, analysis, and maintenance of geospatial data and GIS applications used across multiple departments including Administration, City Development, Public Works, Planning, Engineering, and Utilities.The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with ESRI technologies and demonstrate the ability to manage GIS projects, perform advanced spatial analysis, and develop GIS solutions that support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Must occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds for short distances.
