What You’ll Bring:

• Michigan Department of Education approval as a School Social Worker (required)
• Previous experience in school settings, preferably with elementary and preschool-aged children
• Strong understanding of social-emotional learning supports and behavioral interventions
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, families, and other support professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social work services to a diverse student population, addressing a range of academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Conduct assessments, facilitate social skills groups, and develop intervention plans tailored for individual students
• Support teachers and staff with crisis intervention, classroom management strategies, and professional consultation
• Collaborate with families to foster strong home-school connections and contribute to overall student well-being
