Job Details Location: Columbus, OH (and surrounding areas including Westerville/Dublin, OH). Salary Range: $18–$20 per hour. Sign‑On Bonus: $500. Position Full‑time State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA). Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week). Expected travel: ~30 mile radius with mileage reimbursement of $0.48 per mile. Responsibilities Work as a member of the home care team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or therapist. Observe patients, report findings, and document care performed. Perform personal care services such as bathing, oral hygiene, massages, bed‑linen changes, dressing, skin care, toileting, and maintaining a clean living area. Plan and prepare nutritious meals; assist feeding when necessary. Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as ordered. Assist with ambulation, exercise, range‑of‑motion and other simple therapeutic procedures as ordered. Assist patients with self‑administration of medication. Use equipment safely (foot stools, side rails, etc.) and ensure safety needs are met. Report significant changes to the assigned nurse. Adhere to organization documentation and code of conduct. Provide care to patients in home care and hospice as census allows. Qualifications Meet state and federal STNA training and licensing requirements. Minimum age 18 years. Current state licensure and CPR certification. Licensed driver with a reliable, insured vehicle. Recent TB test. Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care. Self‑directed and able to work with minimal supervision. Empathy, tact, patience, and good personal hygiene. Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) and 401(k) matching.
