TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Akron, Ohio, 44307!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in PCU/Stepdown required. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive a maximum of two attempts to pass; otherwise, the contract will be canceled. Description: Every other holiday required. Night shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Previous charge experience preferred. All references must be from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of start. All travelers must be nicotine-free, except nurses and CSTs, who are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements. Candidates may extend with the client for a period of 18 months; after which a 6-month break is required. A temporary exemption regarding nicotine policies will be honored until further notice. Candidates must complete background checks within 48 hours of signing the contract. Annual competency modules are required and may take 6-15 hours to complete. Time required for pre-start modules is non-billable. Travel candidates who stay on contract for a minimum of one year will need to complete annual hands-on competency. Non-compliance with annual requirements may result in removal from the schedule.
