Dental Assistant

We are a private-owned Dental practice, seeking a super-star skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to assist in a variety of procedures, and excellent communication with both patients and team members. Responsibilities Assist our dentists during a wide range of dental procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines Take digital X-rays and CBCT images Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures Chart patient information and update electronic dental records Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care Maintain proper inventory of dental supplies and materials Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning Follow all infection control protocols and safety standards Qualifications Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience preferred Dental Assistant certification for Florida Expanded Functions X-ray certification required Knowledge of all dental terminology and procedures Experience with dental software (OpenDental, ThriveCloud etc.) preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive attitude Benefits Competitive pay based on experience, as well as potential incentives Paid time off Health benefits Supportive and team-focused work environment and training Schedule Typically Monday – Thursday (Friday is optional, hours may vary) #J-18808-Ljbffr Sand Lake Dental
