Nurse Advocate - LPN

Registered Nurse (RN/LPN)

The Nurse Advocate serves as a patient-centered liaison who promotes patient rights, safety, and quality of care. This role supports patients and families by facilitating communication, resolving concerns, coordinating care, and ensuring patients understand their treatment plans. The Nurse Advocate collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet patients at appointments (as instructed)
• Provide advocacy and support during medical appointments
• No medical tasks performed (not hands-on clinical care)
• No transportation provided to/from appointments
• No home visits – only meet at appointment locations or hospitals
• Call for help in medical emergencies
• (BLS/ACLS not required)

Requirements:

• RNs/LPNs: 2+ years of experience
• Hospital experience required for RN's, doctor office experience for LPN's

Shift Options:

• 4, 6, 8, or 12-hour shifts (will be determined by the client appointment)
• Primarily day shifts; occasional overnight assignments
• 1 RN/LPN per assignment

Orientation Details:

• Duration: 2-3 hours (in-person or online)
