Sales and Billing Support - Part Time

OBS Smoked & Distribution - Renton 600 Powell Ave SW Renton, WA 98057, USA Part‑time Sales and Billing Support person. Support the sales department with administrative tasks, customer service, order processing, billing entry, and data entry. Schedule: Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday. Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour. Essential Duties: Maintains thorough knowledge of all sales functions. Assists in daily activities of sales staff. Processes orders by telephone, e‑mail or mail. Checks orders to include correct prices, discounts, and product numbers, and enters them into the DAX system. Manages correspondence between the sales team and clients. Contacts customers daily to promote products and performs services to maintain customer satisfaction, including delivery as required. Provides data and reports to help the sales team. Provides product, promotion, and pricing information, clarifying customer requests and forwarding information. Resolves order and inventory problems by investigating data and history, identifying alternate means for filling orders, and notifying sales manager and customers. Runs reports, writes and maintains customer price lists. Forwards samples by entering requests, arranging shipment, and notifying customers. Coordinates all functions as sales expediter with the Shipping Department. Maintains proper paperwork flow with credits and samples. Responds to changes productively and handles other duties as required. Follows all company safety policies and procedures. Prints orders and pick sheets, distributes to supervisor in a timely manner. Accurately enters picked and packed quantities into computer, checking for reasonability. Accurately invoices orders and verifies invoicing against dispatch screen to ensure all shift‑route orders are invoiced with 100% accuracy. Properly prepares and attaches shipping documentation for overnight air shippers, ensuring all boxes are tagged and accounted for prior to shipment. Interacts with sales and customers and must look and act professional at all times. Requirements: Resourceful, detail‑oriented self‑starter with excellent negotiation and organizational skills and sound judgment. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, handle frequent interruptions, and remain flexible to meet changing priorities. Follow-through on tasks to completion and aptitude to adapt well to change. Ability to communicate and interact well with others in a often stressful environment and work well under deadlines. Drug and background checks required. 401(k) with company match.
