Quality Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in managing product quality across two different business units. This position involves direct communication with customers and is essential for ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage product quality and communicate with customers effectively.
• Perform inspections and quality control audits.
• Execute ISO9001:2015 internal audits and ensure compliance.
• Identify and resolve inspection errors.
• Report and handle nonconforming materials.
• Apply corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis and failure mode effects analysis.
• Utilize Microsoft software tools to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Read and interpret part drawings and process specifications accurately.
• Understand and apply testing methods and sampling plans.
• Use measurement and test equipment effectively and assess tool accuracy and precision.

Essential Skills

• Associates Degree from a two-year college or technical school, or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Basic calibration knowledge and understanding of traceability.
• Basic CMM programming/operations knowledge.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certification by a professional organization (CQT, CQE) is a plus.
• Experience with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.
• Ability to use spreadsheet and word processing software.

Work Environment

This is an on-site and hands-on role that requires working on the floor. The position involves direct interaction with products and equipment in a dynamic environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $70000.00/yr. 401k, Health, Good PTO They are a German company.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Menomonee Falls, WI.
