CNC Milling Machinist

Job Description We are working with a client company in the Chicago Metro Region seeking a CNC Milling Machinist (multiple shifts). This position will offer regular overtime with a growing company that has been in business for over 100 years! Prior experience working as a CNCMilling Machinist is required. Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual or CNC milling machines Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T Load raw materials and secure fixtures or tooling Select and install cutting tools, inserts, and offsets Program or edit CNC machine programs (often G-code) Monitor machine operations and make adjustments for precision Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes Perform troubleshooting and basic machine maintenance Ensure quality standards and production goals are met Skills: Blueprint reading GD&T knowledge Precision measurement Tooling and offsets G-code editing/programming Problem-solving/troubleshooting Tight tolerance machining Production machining experience Benefits: Extensive overtime offered but not required.
