We’re looking for an experienced cardiothoracic, vascular, or stroke health professional to join our new open‑heart program launched in 2024! As the Vascular Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in advancing vascular and stroke care through data management and quality improvement, directly contributing to the success of our cutting‑edge services. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals to improve stroke treatment, advance vascular procedures, and make a lasting impact on patient care. What You’ll Be Doing Lead Data Management & Analysis : Capture, validate, and enter data into key quality databases like the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI) and the American Heart Association’s Stroke Program “Get with the Guidelines.” Spot Trends & Drive Improvement : Analyze data to identify key trends, causative factors, and opportunities for improvement in our vascular and stroke programs. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to turn data into actionable insights. Reporting & Presentation : Create and present detailed reports to the Vascular and Stroke Committees, leadership teams, and quality improvement committees. Reports will influence critical decisions and help drive continuous improvement. Ensure Compliance & Best Practices : Stay up to date with the latest guidelines from the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and AHA, ensuring all registry functions meet industry standards. Collaborate with Experts : Work alongside Vascular, Neurology, and Neurosurgery physician leaders to keep them updated on data progress, emerging trends, and strategies for improvement. Enhance Efficiency & Impact : Use analytical skills to develop and implement business solutions that optimize program efficiencies and enhance patient outcomes. Professional Growth : Attend the annual VQI conference and other educational opportunities to stay on top of the latest in vascular and stroke care. What We’re Looking For Clinical Expertise : Deep understanding of vascular and neurovascular anatomy, with hands‑on experience in the vascular and stroke setting. Data‑Driven Insight : Skilled at turning complex data into clear, actionable reports that inform decisions and drive improvements in patient care. Commitment to Excellence : Thrive on ensuring accuracy, compliance, and evidence‑based practices to enhance patient safety and outcomes. Education and Experience Minimum Required Education: Licensed Registered Nurse. Preferred Education: ADN degree or higher. Required Experience Two years of previous hospital or clinical setting experience in a vascular and stroke setting or similar clinical data analysis. Thorough knowledge of vascular and neurovascular anatomy. Knowledge of operative reports. Preferred Experience and Certifications Three years of program analysis experience. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or higher certification. Certification in data analysis or data sciences. Attend VQI and GWTG‑S registries education within the first 30‑60 days of onboarding.
