Individual base pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.

This position is responsible for the control and work associated with the inventory control process. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Available to work various schedules to provide for operational efficiencies Coordinate, shop and receive tool, instrument and equipment repairs from vendors Manage, track, receive and transfer distribution meters Ship, receive and document transformer and distribution equipment repairs Perform basic general warehouse duties in the absence of supervisor Maintain inventory stock levels of materials and supplies Order, issue and receive materials and supplies to include invoice receipts and payments Assist in managing the requisition, purchase order and accounting for items associated with the supply chain process . Assist with management of facilities Prepare and provide expertise for efficiencies within the inventory control process Load and unload materials and supplies in accordance with safety rules and best practices Proof job order requests Enter and maintain electronic data Operate a forklift Make deliveries Manage uniform ordering and cleaning process Coordinate vehicle fleet and facility maintenance Manage rubber goods testing Organize and maintain proper storage of materials and tools in order to ensure a safe work environment Clean storeroom and yard to minimize hazards, facilitate accurate inventory counts and maintain an orderly appearance Assist in the implementation and continuing focus of RESAP credentialing Operate PEC vehicle(s) for business purposes in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local law and PEC policies and procedures Maintain driver eligibility through appropriate valid Texas Driver's License and driving record in accordance with PEC policy Maintain the security of confidential information Stay abreast of advances in technology Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Supervisory and/or Leadership Responsibilities None Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of using computer systems, which may include setting up and using hardware and software programs, entering data or processing information Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service Skilled in time management Skilled in managing changing priorities Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to listen and understand information verbally and in writing Ability to anticipate, identify, analyze and resolve conflict and problems.

Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience) High School Diploma or equivalent Three years of warehouse and stocking related experience Forklift certification required or able to obtain within 30 days from hire date Valid Texas Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Report that comply with PEC policy Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
