Registered Nurse - Assisted Living

Complete resident assessments as required. Supervise LPN in data gathering of information. Maintain awareness of the condition of all residents under your care. Accurately administer all medications, treatments, and physician orders, taking ultimate responsibility for resident care. Confere with the Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis regarding special problems of care, resident transfers, and workload management. Coordinate preparation and planning of resident admission, acknowledging the contributions of family and others in nursing care planning. Provide emotional and physical comfort and safety to residents, and emotional support to families. Supervise, assist, consult with, and teach certified nursing assistants. What you’ll need Graduate of a state board‑approved school. Current licensed in Iowa. Current CPR certification or willingness to achieve it. Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays as required or needed, as this is an hourly position. Exceptional attendance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
