Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the OB unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Float to Med/Surg as needed, with an average 1:3 patient ratio; Med/Surg assignments may occur more frequently than OB
• Utilize CPSI and Perigen electronic charting systems
• Occasionally assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed
• Maintain required certifications including BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Certification, and NRP (all via AHA)

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas or Multistate RN license required at time of submission
• Previous experience in OB and Med/Surg nursing required
• Previous Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required — all must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Fetal Heart Certification required
• Flu vaccine strongly preferred; religious and medical exemptions are accepted, though mask use during flu season may be required for those who decline
• Local travelers are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with CPSI and/or Perigen charting systems
