Part-Time Clinical Research Coordinator

Clinical Research Coordinator (Contract)The Clinical Research Coordinator will support a Balance Impairment clinical trial at a research site in the Falls Church, VA area. This role is critical for identifying and recruiting eligible participants, educating them about the study, and ensuring their engagement and compliance throughout the trial. The position requires strong clinical research experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate confidently with both participants and research staff.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, recruit, and prescreen potential participants for eligibility.Conduct phone screenings and review inclusion/exclusion criteria.Perform thorough reviews of patient medical records to determine suitability.Obtain informed consent from participants in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards.Prepare for study visits, including scheduling participants, confirming informed consent status, preparing documents, and coordinating with the research team.Conduct follow-up communications with participants to ensure retention and protocol compliance.Schedule in-person visits and follow-up appointments; send reminders and information as needed.Collect and enter study data into electronic data capture (EDC) systems with a high degree of accuracy.Create and maintain source documents and ensure all study records are complete, up-to-date, and audit-ready.Resolve EDC data queries promptly.Retrieve necessary medical records and ensure proper documentation.Maintain and organize study binders in compliance with study and regulatory requirements.Ensure adherence to e-diary protocols and assist participants with compliance.Essential SkillsExperience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.2+ years of patient recruitment experience.2+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).Training in HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in clinical trials and patient pre-screening.Work EnvironmentThe role operates during normal business hours in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Falls Church, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
