Utilizes time, personnel, equipment, and supplies effectively to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care.Manages resources and patient flow by matching nursing competencies with individualized patient and unit needs. Uses standards of care, hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to guide practice.Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of medical records and clinical data.Develops and implements patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards.Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.Advocates for and protects the health, safety, and rights of each patient.
