Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Electrophysiology Lab, supporting cardiac procedures and interventions. Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout diagnostic and therapeutic processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during complex cardiac interventions and device implantations.
• Monitor patient vital signs and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Document clinical findings and procedural details accurately in the EHR system.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, post-care instructions, and recovery expectations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN program with active state licensure.
• Minimum of one year of EP lab experience or cardiac catheterization lab experience.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proficient in using Epic EHR and related clinical technology.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, arrhythmia management, and electrophysiology procedures.
