Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Ascend Mind Journey, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to client needs.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify psychological issues and developing treatment plans aimed at resolving conflicts and improving family dynamics.
• Facilitating family therapy sessions that address a variety of issues, including but not limited to grief, loss, communication difficulties, and conflict resolution.
• Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges such as:

• Alcohol and substance abuse issues
• Physical and psychological abuse
• The impact of grief and loss
• Family conflicts and sibling disputes
• Adjustment difficulties following separation or divorce
• Communication breakdowns within families
• Job-related stress and its effects on family dynamics
• Challenges faced by blended families

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

At Ascend Mind Journey, we value our therapists and understand the importance of competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually. Additionally, we offer:
