Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and compassionate patient experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications and IV therapies during labor and delivery.
• Assess fetal well-being and maternal condition continuously.
• Document patient progress, interventions, and vital signs accurately.
• Support patients physically and emotionally throughout labor and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EPIC/Stork).

Qualifications:

• Current NY RN license with active certification.
• AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Proven experience with OBIX and electronic medical records (EPIC/Stork).
• Valid driver's license matching current address and demographics.
• Documented travel experience, if applicable.
