Systems Engineer (Experienced or Lead) - (FL June 23-25)

Position Overview We are seeking Systems Engineers to join our St. Louis, MO teams located in Berkeley, Hazelwood, and Saint Charles. The role supports development, production, training, and sustainment for advanced defense and weapon systems, including fighters, autonomous systems, precision engagement systems, and proprietary platforms such as the Phantom Works and AH-64 aircraft. Location and Work Requirements 100% onsite at the St. Louis location; no hybrid or remote options. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (interim or final clearance required). Shift: 1st shift. Relocation may be provided based on candidate eligibility. Core Responsibilities Lead systems engineering efforts for new development, production, and sustainment programs, ensuring alignment with program goals. Translate customer and operational needs into system performance requirements. Guide cross‑functional teams to define and maintain system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria for complex systems. Perform analyses in affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human factors, survivability, vulnerability, security, certification, and product assurance. Run design reviews and technical assessments, recommending improvements to system performance and reliability. Maintain and enhance requirements management, risk/issues/opportunity tracking, toolsets, and technology readiness assessment processes. Implement and adopt latest SE methodologies (e.g., Model Based Systems Engineering) to meet customer expectations. Mentor, coach, and advise engineers in SE tools, techniques, planning, and strategy. Drive cross‑IPT architecture development and support major program milestone reviews and proposal efforts. Provide technical leadership in verification and/or certification efforts for mission‑critical system hardware and software. Leverage MBSE tools such as Cameo, MSOSA, or other SysML‑compatible tools for systems architecture and model development. Apply technical knowledge of DOORS, Cadece/Pspice, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Subversion, Azure DevOps, Git, CAFTA, ReliaSoft, or FaultTree+. Four or more years of related engineering experience. Prior Systems Engineering experience (system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation). Preferred Qualifications Level 4: Seven or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Active U.S. Security Clearance. Leadership experience in engineering roles and/or leading work and driving teams to success. Experience with Aircraft, Mission Systems, and/or Weapon System development. Experience with verification and/or certification efforts, including military safety‑critical or mission‑critical hardware and software certification. Experience leading cross‑IPT architecture development. Experience leading systems engineering efforts supporting major program milestone reviews and proposal efforts. Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo, MSOSA, or other SysML‑compatible tools. Technical understanding and experience with DOORS, Cadece/Pspice, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Subversion, Azure DevOps, Git, CAFTA, ReliaSoft, or FaultTree+.
