REGIONAL CDL-A TRUCK DRIVER – TARGET DEDICATED ACCOUNT

Highway Hitters Trucking Company is recruiting 10 CDL-A drivers for a dedicated Target account serving Chicago and surrounding markets.

Drivers average approximately $1,864 per week and typically receive two to three days at home each week, including a 34-hour reset.

Only 3+ months of qualifying CDL-A experience is required.

PAY

• Average weekly earnings: approximately $1,864
• Top weekly earnings: approximately $2,507
• Average annualized earnings: approximately $96,934
• Compensation includes mileage, stop and detention pay
• Approximately 2,030 miles per week

Earnings are estimates based on current account information and may vary according to experience, mileage, stops and account activity.

HOME TIME AND SCHEDULE

• Typically home two to three days per week
• Weekly 34-hour reset at home
• Current operating window is approximately 9:00 p.m.–noon
• Drivers generally depart at night and make deliveries during the morning
• Drivers should expect to use most of the available 14-hour on-duty window.
• This is a 24/7 operation with no set days off
• Nights, weekends and holidays may be required

FREIGHT AND ROUTE DETAILS

• Dedicated Target account
• Preloaded tri-temperature and dual-temperature refrigerated trailers
• Freight includes meat but does not include alcohol
• Combination of shuttles, full loads and deliveries from shuttle points
• Indiana shuttle points include Whitestown and DeMotte
• Main distribution center is located in West Jefferson, Ohio
• Deliveries include downtown Chicago and surrounding suburbs
• Most stores unload while the driver observes
• Some inner-city locations require liftgate and pallet-jack unloading

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license

• At least 3 months of qualifying CDL-A driving experience
• Must live within an approved hiring area surrounding Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland or Louisville.
• Must be willing to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable with occasional liftgate and pallet-jack unloading
• Must meet all DOT and carrier safety requirements
