Account Executive - SAP Academy for Customer Success – Washington, DC (Hybrid) We help the world run better. SAP’s Academy for Customer Success offers a 10‑month learn‑apply program that combines classroom learning with field experience. Graduates move into a direct, customer‑facing sales role and receive ongoing mentoring and coaching to accelerate their growth. What You’ll Do Complete a 10‑month learn‑apply program with classroom and field phases that enhances your support in a critical customer‑facing function within our Customer Success Board Area. Engage in experiential learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, strategy, tools, and processes. Drive value across the customer lifecycle through solution adoption, ongoing renewals, and account expansion. Receive onboarding in the local market with on‑the‑job training and mentorship from a Senior Account Executive, enabling both behind‑the‑scenes and direct customer interactions. After successful completion, transition into a direct customer‑facing sales role and continue to receive mentoring and coaching support. Sales Roles In Scope Account Executive (AE) Solution Sales Executive (SSE) SSE Focus Areas SAP Finance & Spend Management – expertise in accounting, procurement, and supplier management. SAP SuccessFactors – core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management. SAP Supply Chain Management – knowledge in supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, or product and project lifecycle management. SAP Customer Experience – e‑commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes. SAP Business Transformation Management – business process management and automation applications. SAP Business Technology Platform & SAP Business Data Cloud – database, data management, analytics, application development and integration, intelligent technologies, AI, and integration technology domains. What You Bring 2–3 years of professional experience in a quota‑carrying sales environment in a technology company or a role with significant exposure to business processes. Experience generating opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing sales pipelines with a proven track record of building customer relationships and articulating value propositions. A cooperative and productive approach to internal and external working relationships. Strong ability to learn new concepts quickly, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results. Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics, and the ability to identify business problems solvable with AI. Strong business acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries. Proficiency in English to engage with a global network. Curious and agile mindset, passion for learning, and resilience to adapt in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving, project management, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate ideas clearly and effectively. Emotional intelligence and cultural awareness that support inclusive teamwork and thoughtful stakeholder engagement. Results‑oriented approach and courage to take initiative in emerging technologies, especially AI. Compensation and Benefits Targeted annual combined range: $91,600 – $205,700, inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target.
