Deliver impactful physical therapy services within a local school setting near Boston, MA! This contract position is ideal for dedicated professionals looking to make a difference while enjoying a manageable, flexible schedule. In this role, you will provide one hour per week of tailored PT services, supporting the mobility and functional goals of a student attending school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:00 am and 2:30 pm.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in Massachusetts
- Prior experience with pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for school-aged students
- Comfortable working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized physical therapy sessions (one hour per week) within the student’s school environment
- Assess, plan, and implement treatment plans aimed at improving student mobility, strength, and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with educational staff and family members to monitor progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate record keeping in alignment with school policies and state guidelines
- Maintain professional standards of conduct and confidentiality
