AdvisaCare Hospice, who serves patients in the DOWN RIVER Wayne County area (Trenton, Riverview, Southgate areas). No healthcare experience needed! Must be 18+.
You volunteer near you in your area!
Hospice does not accept court ordered service hours.
Volunteer jobs urgently needed:
- Sitting bedside with hospice patients in nursing facilities
- Providing caregiver relief inside private residences
- Pet therapy (already licensed dogs) to visit with patients
- Play the guitar bedside of hospice patients
- Bereavement volunteer support calls to family & assisting with grief groups
- Pre-med students who want to learn about gerontology patient care
- Grief support (remote)
