This position provides planning and scheduling support for maintenance work including detailed instruction on work orders, materials required, and other resources. Requires limited coordination of work by others and an understanding of principles and practices to perform routines and uses input from others to make decisions on priorities and schedule. Requires strong communications skills and ability to perform well on teams. Supports other planners at site or other sites to increase planner knowledge and skill.The Maintenance Planner also supports Line Mechanics and Technicians by providing expert guidance and maintains open flow of communication up and down the maintenance chain. Identifies and escalates problems proactively. This position will also serve as an NCE Facilitator, championing AMM, tracking results, pushing for execution of improvement projects, initiating focused projects based on Maintenance trends, and participating in process improvement initiatives.Responsible for improvements in technical stoppages and eUPS, optimizing M&I costs.Produce all requirements of maintenance schedules deliverables: Able to complete all analytics and make changes in CMMS based off of analysis of data. Work with maintenance team and other departments to develop maintenance work schedules.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESCreate planned work schedule with all resources required for maintenance technician to perform work. Scope of role is planning for up to 20 techniciansLeverage maintenance resources to address top losses driving reduction of unplanned stoppagesContributor to department technical guidelines, standards, and specificationsManage CMMS Data, ensuring that appropriate information is included such as FLOC, BOM's, PM's, etc. are entered into the CMMS system when a modification, improvement, or addition is made to manufacturing, utilities, and/or other support area equipmentMonitor/Audit Mechanic data entry and quality into SAP/AMM system. Provide support and training as required to ensure meaningful and comprehensive information is availableEvaluate all notifications, working with Maintenance Manager and MechanicsConvert to Work Orders or provide feedback to requestors as appropriateDrive continuous improvement projects related to maintenance as assigned by working with operations and engineering alikeImplementation of NCE process and systems including PM Pillar and its link to other NCE Modules (AM, GA, EM, etc.)Provide coaching to the factories on zero based budget creation and M&I cost improvement projectsMonitor, Coach and improve the Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) strategy and objectives in the factories/facilitiesActive involvement on continuous improvement, networking and sharing information within the M&I communitySuperuser that supports factory as well as planners throughout the marketMonitor work order backlog; schedule backlog work in a timely manner to maintain a reasonable levelMonitor Workorder Completion, Backlog, and Schedule Compliance to ensure health of maintenance systemsLeverage AMM data to improve maintenance plansGenerate and distribute KPI, and trend analysis and CMMS reportsActive involvement on continuous improvement, networking and sharing information within the M&I communityCoordinates the use of corporate, plant and external engineering resources to ensure alignment with OMPBuild, develop and coach maintenance resources to drive resultsLeverage OMP to coordinate activities in maintenance in line with factory and business plansAlign with Factory / market TPM / Maintenance Managers to ensure proper application of NCE MethodologiesDevelop and maintain competencies and commitment to achieve the M&I and NCE team’s mission and objectivesDemonstrate and promote the company's values leveraging Nestle Leadership FrameworkDeploy training and communicate TPM / NCE / M&I strategies to factory personnel and others as neededEnsure that compliance/risk items are addressed promptly utilizing resourcesEXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSPreferred bachelor’s degree in engineering or skilled trades certification(s)Experience in a maintenance area, preferably as a maintenance technician (min 5+ years) / industrial utility experience preferredExperience working in AMM (min 5+ years).
