Outside Sales position 

Founded in 1927, C.S. Brown is an apartment building supply company that has been serving apartment building owners, managers, contractors, and retail customers for almost 100 years. Qualifications

• Experience in NYC real estate industry (Commercial Buildings, Condo/ Co-Op), Rentals)
• Proven track record of meeting sales goals
• Knowledge of janitorial supplies, paper products, plumbing, electrical, building materials, paint 
• Ability to learn and use a sales software to track and analyze sales growth and opportunities 
• 2+ plus years of B2B outside sales experience

Responsibilities

• Taking orders over the phone, email, and in person 
• Onsite visits to buildings to take orders, answer questions, meet customers 
• Identify new accounts, develop goals and growth schedules 
• Manage relationships with building supers, engineers, resident managers, porters, and agents 
• Follow up on leads and potential accounts
• Attend industry conferences & industry organization meetings 
• Use industry expertise and knowledge to advise customers on problems and solutions
