Job Summary:
Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Echocardiography (ULTRA ECHO) is sought for a healthcare facility located in Seaside, Oregon. This role involves performing advanced echocardiographic procedures with proficiency in starting IVs for contrast studies. The position requires working Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no on-call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography, completion of American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Sonography (S*), Cardiac Compression Inc. (CCI) , and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certifications, Oregon license, proficiency in 2-D and 3-D echocardiography, adult acute care and outpatient settings, and charting experience using Epic. Candidate must be able to start IVs for contrast studies; IV competency must be completed prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in emergency department and ICU settings, proficiency with GE and Philips ultrasound machines, and experience with procedures on ICU/ED patients.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be able to float within units as needed, adhere to the unit's protocol for starting IVs, and have references covering at least one year within the last three years. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be prepared for potential floating to nearby affiliate hospitals.
