# Job Opportunity – Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist – Ohio

Schedule: 12 or 24-hour in-house shifts providing 24/7 coverage for the Obstetrics and Emergency Department

Highlights:

• Dedicated OB hospitalist role with no outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Average 1-3 deliveries per shift with 6-8 patients in the department
• Approximately 600 deliveries annually with 85% obstetrics and 15% gynecology case mix
• Level 2 NICU on-site with transfer capabilities for high-risk cases under 32 weeks
• In-house anesthesia support and NP/PA assistance for first assist procedures
• Epic EMR system with MFM and GYNOC telephone consultation available

Requirements:

• ABOG or ABOOG board certification required
• Current or eligible state medical license
• Vaccination requirements must be met
• Proficiency in vaginal delivery, cesarean section, VAVD, 3rd and 4th degree laceration repair
• Experience with labor induction, TOLAC, suction D&C, circumcision, and first assist GYN procedures
• Competency in managing medical conditions and complications of pregnancy at all gestational ages
