Benefits Paid time off 401K retirement plan Outstanding Medical coverage Dental coverage Vision coverage Tuition reimbursement Many more voluntary benefit options Responsibilities Tenured Registered Nurse with an interest in Leadership Charge Nurse Experience Labor and Delivery (L&D) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Integrity Accountability The Environment - Culture Collaborative Leadership team Mentorship for New Leaders High Complexity High Quality Care New Nurse Residency On‑site Educator supporting residents Supervises shifts – 20 RN and about 65 total staff The Schedule - Work/Life Balance 12‑hour shifts Day: 0700 – 1730 Night: 1730 – 0700 Night Shift Differential: $3.00 per hour Earn OT daily – after the 8th hour, 1.5× for the last 4 hours 3–12 hour shifts weekly, fewer weekends Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities If the unit Director and Manager are absent, assume administrative scope of the unit Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with federal and state regulations Prepare, conduct, and oversee department orientation and training of personnel Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration both in writing and verbally Be responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift Assist the Department Director in daily unit operations, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring proper use of time, equipment, and staff Ensure efficient department functions Perform direct patient care as needed, within scope of practice Continuously assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in care plan Qualifications Current and valid California Registered Nurse license Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate upon hire, maintained thereafter Minimum three years of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience preferred Depending on the area, additional certifications may be required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Pay Transparency Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Estimated total reward package: $42.37 to $54.60 per hour, depending on experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
