Sr. LVN Supervisor - Specialty Care, North Hollywood

Description In this clinical leadership role, the supervisor oversees all nursing and clinical services at the clinic level, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care aligned with Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians standards. The supervisor also manages key administrative functions that support daily operations. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population under the supervision of designated clinical staff, recognizing both routine and emergency conditions. Oversee and coordinate clinic operations, including patient flow, staffing adjustments, and adherence to established workflows. Supervise, train, and evaluate nursing staff, ensuring clinical competencies are maintained and professional standards are upheld. Monitor and support quality assurance initiatives, including compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Manage clinical supply inventory and administrative processes to support efficient practice operations. Review and approve staff timesheets, conduct performance evaluations, and maintain annual competency records. Partner with the Ambulatory Nursing Team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal clinic performance. Assist Clinic Manager with clinical operational tasks. Qualifications CA LVN License with Intravenous Therapy and Blood withdrawal certification Current BLS Card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross 3+ years LVN experience Ability to take vital signs, administer medications and obtain drug refills as needed Ability to recognize abnormal laboratory values and report to the physician. Knowledge of symptomatology of common and/or life threatening medical problems Interpersonal skills in maintaining a cooperative working environment with physicians, staff, and all health providers Perform phlebotomy, CPR, injections, and other skills within scope of practice Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, Windows computer functions, computer navigation, and ability to use computerized patient care systems Knowledge of all safety requirements when handling biohazardous specimens or contaminated instruments Verbal skills to effectively convey sensitive information in a courteous manner in person or on the telephone Ability to lead a team with effective communication, collaboration and maintaining high-quality standards Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members, faculty, patients, nursing staff and others Team building and leadership skills, preferably to include prior supervisory experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
