Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to interpret examination findings and establish the nature and extent of dysfunction related to medical conditions, birth defects, or injuries.
• Develop individualized plans of care that address patients' specific needs, goals, and medical history while ensuring regular progress assessment.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to communicate patient progress or any issues, ensuring seamless patient care and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements by meticulously documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and their families, as well as nursing staff, on follow-through programs and exercises to promote recovery.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is functional and sanitary at all times.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, adhering to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and all relevant laws and guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Our patient population includes adults of various ages, from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain independence. Your role will be crucial in addressing the unique needs of each patient, implementing evidence-based techniques to facilitate recovery and enhance overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California and a National Provider Identifier.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with additional certifications preferred.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective education and interaction with patients and their families.
• Ability to develop innovative treatment programs based on current research and best practices.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation, particularly in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices.
• Prior experience in developing educational materials related to patient care and discharge planning.

Compensation and Benefits
