Details Med/Surg unit setting within a hospital Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) May be required to float to other departments based on competency and qualifications May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift EPIC charting system used Requirements Active MT or compact RN license required BLS certification (AHA) required, must not expire prior to start ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit ASN required; BSN preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required EPIC EMR experience required Additional Information Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans, referring patients for further evaluation as needed Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-761279.
