The Beach Club Breakfast CookPosition handles all food preparation in the kitchen to include preparing food for cooking, frying, sautéing, baking, etc. as well as productivity, sanitation, quality and presentation of the food.Essential duties:Performing food preparation dutiesFollowing recipes, mixing, weighing, measuring ingredientsFollowing orders from supervisorsMaintain stock and clean work stationKeeping the kitchen area & equipment clean and sanitizedPerforming duties efficiently to prepare dishes in the appropriate timeAbility to perform all functions in the kitchenBe able to ensure excellent quality of foodEnsure that the kitchen is clean, organized and maintained up to standards and health and safety regulationsPerform other related duties as assignedRequired skills:Ability to work in a team environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to understand kitchen operations and have knowledge about ingredients and kitchen equipmentPhysical requirements:Must be able to stand/walk for entire shiftMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch as neededMust be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds as neededMust be able to work in hot, busy environmentCompensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourAt Spectrum Resorts, we believe in teamwork, family, and supporting each other.
