About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Fund Accounting in Hedge Funds. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and supervision to team members, managing daily workflows for client relationships, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of reporting to clients. This role involves acting as the primary contact for clients and other fund participants, maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, and participating in the continuous expansion and evolution of the business. The Vice President will also be involved in managerial functions, including setting and maintaining targets for staffing, production, and productivity, as well as conducting performance evaluations and assisting in the development of the team. Applicants should have a degree and ideally possess an accounting qualification, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in hedge fund accounting. A proven interest in financial markets and the hedge fund industry, strong technical knowledge of hedge fund accounting, extensive managerial experience, and strong risk knowledge are essential. The role requires a candidate who can meet the expectations of fund participants, adhere to deadlines, and is capable of leading and participating in projects as needed.
