Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort and clinical excellence. While we welcome all skilled assistants, candidates with experience in IV sedation, conscious sedation, or oral surgery  will be given strong priority.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Assistance: Provide expert four-handed chairside assistance during various dental procedures, including exams, fillings, and extractions.
• Sedation Support: Assist in the administration of sedation (IV or oral) and provide continuous, vigilant monitoring of patient vital signs during and after procedures.
• Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, explain procedures to alleviate anxiety, and provide clear post-operative instructions.
• Sterilization & Safety: Maintain a sterile environment by disinfecting treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments according to OSHA and infection-control protocols.
• Diagnostics: Take high-quality digital X-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Administrative Support: Document patient treatments accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and assist with patient flow.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
• Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and digital radiography.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication and a compassionate bedside manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–2+ years of experience in oral surgery or a high-volume clinical setting.
• Specific Sedation Training: Experience monitoring patients under IV sedation or conscious sedation (Nitrous Oxide/Oral).
• Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or Eaglesoft).
