About Us: Astrapouch® is a leading distributor of primary packaging to the Food and Beverage industries. We focus on excellent customer service and increasing revenue. We're seeking an Internal Sales Associate to join our dynamic sales team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Inside Sales Associate to join our team in the flexible packaging industry. This role is perfect for a fast learner who excels at building long-term client relationships and managing high-volume communications. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing technical product expertise and driving business growth through both inbound lead management and active outbound prospecting.

This position begins as an on-site role to ensure comprehensive training and integration with our production team, with the opportunity to transition into a hybrid work schedule after achieving specific performance and training milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inbound Communication Management: Serve as the first point of contact by promptly and professionally answering incoming phone calls and emails to address inquiries and process orders.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
  • Technical Product Mastery: Quickly learn and stay current on the technical aspects of flexible packaging, including materials, barrier properties, and printing specifications, to provide accurate solutions to clients.
  • New Business Development: Actively seek out new customers and growth opportunities using various marketing platforms, social selling, and industry research.
  • CRM Data Integrity: Utilize our CRM platform to track all sales activities, manage the pipeline, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and requirements.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with production and design teams to ensure customer specifications are met and orders are delivered on time.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Previous experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service is required.
  • CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with a CRM system (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho) is essential for managing daily tasks and reporting.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to grasp complex technical specifications and explain them clearly to customers.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on responsiveness and professional etiquette.
  • Adaptability: A self-starter who is comfortable working in an office environment initially and can maintain high productivity when transitioning to a hybrid setup.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Initial Period: 100% On-site for training and product immersion.
  • Future Transition: Eligible for a hybrid schedule (split between home and office) based on performance and tenure
