Program Administrator, Maryland Center for Community Schools (Contractual)

Program Administrator, Maryland Center for Community Schools (Contractual) Location: Main Campus, Towson, MD. Primary Division: Academic Affairs Division. Responsibilities Implement and maintain a SharePoint hub to track a high‑level, complex research project for a team of eight researchers across multiple institutions. Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track individual technical assistance projects. Coordinate regular meetings with Towson University and community partners, taking minutes and following up on action items. Manage project budgets, produce expense reports, reimbursements and invoices, ensuring expenditures align with the planned budget. Support the research team with site visits and travel arrangements. Arrange travel for MCCS team and partners visiting campus. Handle communication support via social media, email, Mailchimp, TU, and community partners. Assist with annual conventions and other technical assistance events on TU’s campus. Participate in regular check‑in meetings with the Director of MCCS for additional support as needed. Telework may be available for up to two days per week following 90 days of service in good standing. Qualifications Four years’ experience in administrative staff work. Working knowledge of reference and research methods and techniques used in collecting, compiling, and organizing data and information. Knowledge of analytical and statistical principles and techniques, including presentation of statistical material in chart and graph form. Skill in the use of office automation software and its applications. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, handle sensitive materials with discretion and tact, and present ideas and information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to independently handle multiple tasks and set priorities. For additional or alternative qualifications, education requirements may be substituted for the experience requirement on a year‑for‑year basis with 30 college credits equaling one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in SharePoint, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Drive, Zoom, social media, Mailchimp and Bit.ly. Experience with budgeting and working on complex projects. Experience working in a university setting. Demonstrated strength in project management, organization, communication and attention to detail. Salary and Benefits $24.49 per hour. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage. The position is contingent on funds being available at the time of hire.
